For
my guitars the goal of the armbevel is to not
have it cut into the tonally valuable lower bout of the soundboard
and
to not have the support wood under
the armbevel or
the top's perfling interrupt the vibration of the top.
I
have developed my armbevel choices following these two principles.
"Form follows function."

Shaped in Ebony or Koa, this is the style of armbevel is usually
used on the Everett medium or large body guitars.
The
flow of the shape matches the flow of the body. The rebound aspect
of the top's vibration is not interrupted by it's shape.
