3) I'm writing 2 books :

a) Building Guitar Number 500

This little book will cover the 3 years it took to design and build guitar number 500.
It has even lead to a new guitar model mixing my love of fine art and guitar building.

b) The Craftsman's Notebook

This is a fun table top book that is full of philisophical thoughts from the workbench
( and lots of cool guitar photos).
~ Coming in the Spring of 2009. ~

 

4) Shoes
Many of you know that about once a year I send a box of good used shoes
( preferable tennis shoes) to Africa.
A thing as simple as putting shoes on feet can actually help people become healthy.

All sizes needed: kids , womens , mens...

My buddy Darrell Jennings has had his Elan Series #400 stolen. He is offering a $4000 reward. No questions asked. It is an Everett version of the famous prewar D-28 with: Abalone Herringbone, Brazilian Rosewood, Italian Spruce , Waverly Tuners, Calton Case, ....
